How Joseph is paid
There is no fee for Joseph’s brokerage services. He receives a commission from the insurance company when you enroll in a plan he offers.
- Carriers pay a commission if you enroll through Joseph in a plan he is appointed to offer.
- The premium you pay the carrier is the same whether you enroll through him, another agent, or (when allowed) the carrier directly.
- He is independent - not employed by one company.
- He does not offer every plan available in your area. Depending on your ZIP code, he represents 4 to 11 organizations, offering 26 to 81 products.
- If the plans Joseph offers do not meet your needs, he can direct you to Medicare.gov, HealthCare.gov, or your State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) for additional options.
